Inspired by the story Harold and the Purple Crayon, Elizabeth has been an artist her whole life. Throughout her childhood education, she attended art enrichment programs, continuing her studies formally at the Long Island High School for the Arts, and later at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC where she earned her BFA.
Elizabeth is well versed in pencil, ink, pastels, charcoal, acrylic/oil/watercolor painting, calligraphy, wood and metal techniques, darkroom and digital photography, silk screening, 2D and 3D design, digital design, color theory and typography.
Elizabeth’s training led her into graphic design (print/web), and she is currently pursuing a career as a freelance designer/illustrator. She designs/illustrates for individual representation, small to medium sized businesses and dabbles in pro bono work.
